About Ultrasounds / Sonograms

An ultrasound (or sonogram) is a routine pregnancy test. Pregnancy ultrasounds provide a "picture" (in 3D or 4D) of what's happening inside your uterus, which makes it easier to track fetal development, to administer prenatal care, and to detect birth defects like down syndrome. Sonography can also tell the sex of your baby!
