Breastfeeding is one of the healthiest, natural things that a mother can do for her child, yet media companies like Facebook brand the image of a mother nursing her child as an obscenity, and women exercising their legal right to breastfeed are harassed at chain restaurants like Applebee's.

FaceBook may want to banish breastfeeding, but we want to celebrate it, honor it, and protect the rights of mothers everywhere. That's why Pregnancy Health Guru has created this forum, where moms are encouraged to share their breastfeeding pictures and experiences - and where everyone can show their support for the cause!

Help us support a mother's right to breastfeed without being harassed or labeled obscene. Add your voice by signing our petition, by adding images to our visual mosaic, or by adding a comment. The more submissions we receive, the stronger our voice will be, so please tell your friends!

How It Works: Each time someone signs the petition, adds a comment, or uploads a photo, we increase the milk level in the babies below - and every photo which is submitted is added to the visual mosaic. Plus, we store every photo you upload to your own profile, where you can view or share your pictures anytime.

I am a mother of two(currentyly nursing) who personally can not nurse in public but feel that those who are comfortable enough should be able to do so. This is what is best for our children. It is natural. It is how God designed us, and there is nothing wrong with that.

I uploaded this pic http://s190.photobucket.com/albums/z10/mdfeller/?action=view¤t=2318639_125x125.jpg to myspace who took it down within 12 hours. I have been in communications with them since over this picture. How can I file a complaint & make my voice heard b/c it is not inappropriate?

I think women should breast feed. It has been medically proved it helps build the infants immune system. Some women can not breast feed and thats fine, but women who can should be able to when and where they need to.

I breastfed all 3 of my children years ago, during the 70's and early 80's and discrimination was even more rampant at that time.I am so happy to see that finally an effective effort is being made for women to be women and be able to feed their babies in the way nature intended without harrassment.

I breastfed my daughter until she was 20 months old. We really have a stronger bond than my older children who were formula fed. People often tried to throw a blanket over my shoulder to cover her head, but I threw it right back off because she hated it.

people make rude comments about me feeding my child in public all the time. it offends. BREASTS ARE MADE FOR BABIES, NOT AS SEXUAL OBJECTS!!!!

Breast feeding is a choice. Its highly stressful, and I'm not surprised if mothers give it up after awhile. I think if parents start breastfeeding and it doesn't work out, at least they tried and gave their baby the best start in life. :)

I nursed my son until he was 7mos old. I nursed in public but didn't enjoy having to hide both of us under a blanket in the heat of summer. I enjoyed the bonding that happened between me and my son. Celebrate Breastfed Babies!!!!

To the person that said that the longer you breastfeed the more intelligence the child will have... 1. You didn't have to post it 500 times. 2. It is spelled i-n-t-e-l-l-i-g-e-n-c-e. But yeah, after age 2 I don't feel that is appropriate either and I breastfed my kids.
